I've been using iZotope RX for a wide range of applications, from removing noise from recordings before mixdown to removing noise from wedding videos, and now that it's been upgraded, I've installed the latest version.
The iZotope product line has been very supportive of my old PC/mac environment, and although it is unofficial, I was able to install and run RX9 on macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra. I'll be using the RX9 on macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra for the time being.
Actually, AVID Protools 11 | Software is also running on macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra, which is very helpful because macs have a long lifespan. I'm sure I'll be able to use my current environment for another 10 years, so I'm taking good care of it.
By the way, even on macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra, which has already become a version of the past, you can use the noise reduction features of iZotope RX9 from your DAW by launching AVID Protools 11 | Software and using the plug-in. Very useful.
My favorite feature is the De-reverb function, which allows you to remove reverb, but a feature that I have not yet mastered, and that I think would be very useful, is the Music Rebalance function, which allows you to separate vocals and music from a pre-existing song. I've been using RX since version 2, and I'm really impressed with how well it works.
Finally, here's a video review of the new features of the RX9.
